Sarge was running great, but I wanted to try out Sid. Living on stable is the way to go for a server, but I wanted to take the machine into workstation territory.
Update sources.list, apt-get update, get errors for non-US, do some research, we don’t need it anymore, apt-get dist-upgrade, crash along the way, Google a bit, restart the process.
Sid is running great, like the new KDE, Xorg seems quicker, transparency looks cool. Have the latest Firefox and Thunderbird builds, I’m a happy surfer.
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, ‘n’ how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
