To make simple or simpler, to reduce to basic essentials, to diminish in scope or complexity, to make more intelligible.
Over the last couple of years, whenever I had an idea, I would visit Dotster to register a Domain name. Currently, I own 40 domains, with many of them running live sites that need to be supervised, maintained and are longing for fresh content.
This past week, I decided to simplify my online life, so I shutdown nine domains and returned them to holding pages. The domains were running the following: 3 Textpattern front-ends, 2 PunBB forums, 1 singapore gallery, 1 SimplePie feed page and 1 Phorum forum.
The following Domain names are for sale – each has a .com, .net and .org:
- TxPun – A project to combine Textpattern and PunBB. The PunBB project was sold off, the main developers forked, so the name has no meaning to me anymore.
- TxPide – A project to create and house Textpattern templates. I still have interest in this but I’ll await xPattern for my next move.
- TxPage – Another domain registered with templating in mind.
