Wireless Bluetooth headphones are all the rage.
For the last twenty something years, I’ve listened to a pair of Sony SRS-88 powered speakers that were bought at a local CompUSA, along with a Compaq Prolinea. The desktop has long been retired, but the Sony speakers are still cranking strong to this day.
Adjusting to the un-tethered desk lifestyle, the laptop needed portable music. Even though the built-in JBL speakers aren’t bad, and I do have a Jam Plus that rocks the backyard, I went looking for headphones.
The Sony MDRXB950BT Bluetooth headphones are one of the best values going at $129.99. We liked them so much that my son and daughter decided to get their own pair after listening to mine. The house is mucho quiet now.
Paired them with my phone, tablet, laptop and a Bluetooth transmitter hooked to the TV. The last connection, the one to the 60 inch LED, has made a world of difference in late night movie viewing. Action movies at 2 in the morning don’t bother the misses anymore.
Coding to Pink Floyd, it don’t get much better.
Hello, is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
