It’s been raining for the last couple of days.
The weather for the July 4th weekend was great, a bit warm but the sun was shining on our BBQ. Then came the rain and it hasn’t stopped, mostly drizzle, no massive buckets of water.
What’s nice about the canopy of trees that surround the house is that you can stay under them and not get wet from the rain, a sort of natural umbrella. The grass is real green by now, any areas that had patches of dirt are now covered by green blades.
When it’s raining, we feel like we’re living in the Pacific Northwest. It’s a delight to live amongst nature, wouldn’t have it any other way.
