Poor computer, it’s owner is a geek.
Giga started it’s silicon-based life running Debian Sarge (oldstable). Since then, it’s jumped to Sid (unstable), back to Etch (stable), then up to Lenny (testing).
Last night, I felt the need for Sid:
1. pico /etc/apt/sources.list
2. apt-get update
3. apt-get dist-upgrade
(725MB to fetch from the repositories)
(16 minutes downloading the packages)
(32 minutes upgrading the system)
4. reboot
To think, I killed a cat
And may I say, oh no, not their way
But no, no, not me
I did it my way
