Thanks to 2 cups of coffee, I was able to sit through the Academy Awards.
The only reason I subjected myself to commercial laden media was to see Jon Stewart stick it to the man. Let’s just say that the coffee was the only jolt I got out of the evening, pretty lame stuff.
Though the movies nominated this year dealt with serious issues, the awards ceremonies lacked any sort of message, unless you count GM trying to tell us that they got an environmental clue now.
Crash was the only nominated movie that I saw last year, we rented it on DVD and watched it one night. I don’t watch much media these days, other than a few minutes of TV at night to put me to sleep.
