Logitech LX8 Cordless Laser Mouse

Bought a new mouse today.

Logitech LX8 Cordless Laser Mouse

My last mouse, a 3 year old Logitech LX7, had begun to experience clicking issues. The left click was just staying down a few milliseconds too long and single clicks were turning into double clicks. I was going to try cleaning it, but the LX8 laser mouse caught my eye.

The LX8, like the the advertising says, is a very precise mouse. The laser technology does make a difference, especially in pixel pushing applications like Photoshop. I have a trackball I use on occasion and the LX8 feels just as behaved on small detail work.

Logitech mice have always performed well for me, their 3 button mouse was what I used on Linux till mice with click-able scroll wheels came out. We’ve come a long way from the days of cleaning mouse balls of lint, now we have rodents with freaking laser beams.

I came as ice, I came as a whore
I came as advice that came too short
I came as gold, I came as crap
I came clean and I came as a rat
