Since January, I’ve been running the nightly branch to get familiar with the new Australis theme. My family was jealous of my new look and start page, asking me all the time when they were going to get that cool looking blue planet.
Well today I gave them all the new Firefox 29, to be released tomorrow, but it’s out there already if you know where to look. They couldn’t be happier, compliments abound about the new theme and how much faster their browsing experience is.
On my main computer, I created a new profile and copied over important files, a fresh new start for Firefox 29. Over the years crud tends to creep in, the last time I began with a new profile was back in March of 2011, housecleaning was in order.
What can I say, I’m an old Netscape user, still have my t-shirt, maybe I’ll wear it tomorrow.
