On January of 2006, this site was launched.
Rather than spend weeks or months coming up with a unique design for my personal site, I just launched with the default Textpattern look.
I started entering my content and learning the Textpattern way, the Zen of Textile, the txp:tag system and the lean admin interface. I was having so much fun entering content, that it overflowed onto other sites, clones of this one at first.
Since Textpattern is such a small code base, size on disk is only 1MB, it was easy to copy the site and related database to another domain. It almost felt like copying a static site, not very much to do after the FTP session completes. But now grasshopper, time to walk over the rice paper.
