1991 Land Rover Range Rover Classic, aka The Shuttle.
The Rover has only 72,135 original miles, it’s been sitting in my driveway for the last 3 years, collecting dust, totally neglected. So I decided to sell it this week, threw it up on Craigslist. The above picture, which was a request from a buyer who wanted to see all sides of the vehicle, made me come to my senses.
One more year and it’s a 25 year old classic, why would I sell it at this point? I already know it’s idiosyncrasies, I’m sure it’s got a few adventures left in it. Yes it’s an 8 cylinder, but it’s built like a tank, modern vehicles just bounce off of it. Can you say Ramming Speed?
So the Shuttle will be making it’s way to South Florida soon, by way of Cape Canaveral ;)
