Jimmy Buffett is ringing in my ears.
Charlotte in the Fall, there’s no better place to be. Temps in the mid 70’s during the day, low 60’s at night and the humidity in the mid 50’s. Comfy jeans, long sleeve t-shirts and not a drop of sweat on my body to be found.
The leaves are starting to turn colors before they begin their descent to the ground. I’ve forgotten how the backyard trees look without any foliage, the beauty of the changing seasons, makes time creep along like the caterpillars.
Going outside for a keyboard break of a few minutes turns into an hour. I think I need another laptop, some outside speakers and of course a small fridge.
The weather is here I wish you were beautiful
The skies are too clear life’s easy today
The beer is too cold, the daquiri’s too fruitiful
There’s no place like home when it’s this far away
