Last night the wind picked up, it brought with it some colder weather off the mountains.
Spent the morning picking up branches all around the yard. If the fireplace wasn’t gas powered, I’d have a lot of kindling for it. A wood burning fire looks nicer and feels cozier but a gas fire is a lot more convenient.
So far, the Winter season has been very pleasant. Some days we wonder if it’s actually Fall, Winter or Spring, the weather fluctuates that much.
The house is coming along, we should be ready for the new floors by the end of the month.
