Who is Bert?

IT veteran of 25 years, helping businesses and individuals discover the power of Open Source software.
My interest lies in dynamic Web applications, specifically PHP based with the content stored in a MySQL database. I’ve contributed to several Open Source projects by answering support questions, building and maintaining community sites, working on documentation and beta testing.
These are the machines that accompany me and the software that assists in my work. For exercise and to clear my mind, I go bicycling amongst the trees when the weather and my body allows. Though I listen to Internet radio for most of the day, last.fm tracks when I do fire up an mp3.
